Survey & Report

Transatlantic trade in the Greater Cincinnati region. Two studies over a few years. These helped the European American Chamber of Commerce advocate for air travel, tax policy, and other shifts to promote more import-export business between Ohio and Europe

We worked with the Association of Philanthropic Counsel with sponsorship from MarketSmart to study how charitable organizations in the U.S. identify potential donors of major gifts. The findings are surprising. The link for the image opens a podcast about the report. This opens the study itself.

Analysis and Editing

The annual Donor-Advised Fund Report from the National Philanthropic Trust informs policy and practice affecting this growing form of philanthropic giving.

Workshop 

We prepared a custom workshop for the Center for Nonprofit Resources in Toledo about the future of philanthropy and engaging people in Generation X as volunteers and donors.  We've also prepared custom sessions on related topics for colleagues in the Association of Philanthropic Counsel, the Association of Fundraising Professionals of the Permian Basin (Midland, TX), and the Association of Fundraising Professionals of New York - Hudson-Mohawk Chapter.

Melissa was recognized as a "Top Speaker in Philanthropy" for 2016.
